Adding another notch to my AFI 100 belt, I watched All About Eve tonight. A movie about a starstruck fan that connives and swindles her way into the theatre limelight.

Played by Bette Davis, Margo Channing is popular, famous and adored. Eve Harrington, played by Anne Baxter, is a nobody that is overlooked. She cons her way into the hearts of Channing and her friends, quickly aligning herself to “replace” Channing in the end.   [ Read more ]
