It’s a snowy, sleeting night in the Chicagoland area. It’s a good day/night for some great moview watching.

First, I watched The Godfather, Part II. Adding to my AFI 100 watching list, this movie was OK. I definitely liked The Godfather better. A lot of subtitles were in this film too. However, I did enjoy the interweaving of the main story line and the flashbacks to the godfather’s life.

I also watched Conversations With Other Women. I didn’t like this movie much at all. The film screen is split in half with two different camera views which at some points overlaps. Because of the splitting, it takes a lot of concentration to keep track of what’s going on. Also, some scenese or dialogue is repeated for emphasis but it became altogether distracting and hard to follow even more.
