framed moth

One of my most prized possessions is this framed moth. My mom found it hanging on a window screen for a day and decided to adopt it. Because moths have very short lifespans and its discovery in Minnesota so unusual, I was able to humanely frame this little guy to appreciate his beauty for years to come. Don’t worry, I called a professor at the local community college on the best way to do this. What’s great about this is that every time I look at it, it reminds me of my trips to Minnesota to visit my Grandma. And now that my Grams is no longer of this earth, I welcome the reminder.
I am vowing to replace my household cleaners with eco-friendly, human- and pet-friendly alternatives. I’m thinking of trying out the Method line. As I don’t often replace cleaners, this will be a slow process. I still need to do some price comparisons and read up on other alternatives, but this might be my best bet so far. I’ve sold the idea to the rest of the household so that’s always promising. WoohoO! More updates on this topic soon.
