road trip and sock progress

I traveled to Des Moines yesterday to watch my good friend graduate law school. It ended up being an incredibly short trip (it took about 4 1/2 hours to get there) since I turned around to come back for a bachelorette party at Second City in downtown Chicago Saturday night (4 hours and 15 minutes on the way back). During my travels, I finished one of the Clessidra socks, which I was enormously excited about and strut about the room wearing it. Here it is without the ends weaved in. I still need more yarn to finish the second. Darn!
