Today I worked furiously on an adaptation of the Cheeky Ribbed Socks from No Sheep For You. I’m using Regia Bamboo Color this time, which is knitting up beautifully. However, this time, I’m using the heel from Clessidra which I am liking so much more.

The No Sheep version had ridge rows you can feel when walking. The Clessidra curves around with the angle of the heel (quite naturally of course) and seems to fit. I had to merge them a bit, but the sock looks OK so far. I’m picking up the gussets right now and hope to have this puppy done tomorrow. We’ll see how the progress continues.   [ Read more ]
