Thanks to Dad, I got two bath towels, two hand towels, four washcloths, a bath mat, two pillows, a sweater and a mocha this weekend from Macy’s. As an apartment warming gift, he sent me a set of towels from Macys.com, however when I received them, the towels themselves didn’t match. Knowing my dad probably spent a pretty penny, I wanted to get a set that actually did match, and matched my existing bathroom color scheme as well (blue and yellow ducks).
At the store, they apparently don’t carry the line my Dad bought, but they were having a sale. So with the money he spent on one set of towels, I got a whole bunch more. PLUS, there’s still $55 remaining on my gift card. Now I’m planning to use that money on kitchen and home decor. Looks like another trip to Macy’s is in store!
