I can’t believe I forgot to mention this but Elisabeth Doherty’s Amigurumi!: Super Happy Crochet Cute book finally arrived Monday. I am sooo excited. Every since I set out to make my cousins these little dudes, I have wanted to compare the pattern I came up with to Elisabeth’s awesome, funky creations. And now I can learn from the master! Tonight I started on the girl from the cover (the last pattern in the book). Since I have prior amigurumi experience, I feel that I can take on this challenge. So far, one arm is done!
I hope to have her done within the week or so to join Jane (the only amigurumi pal I actually kept) on my bookcase.
