We’re having a Halloween party tomorrow at work. So I had to race home today to make: CUPCAKES! 

Here’s the mix with my new KitchenAid Hand Mixer.

I thought I had Halloween-specific sprinkles but I only had animals. I think they work OK though.

I decorated some with candy corn. I like the submerged pumpkins.

So normally I back blog. I know, it isn’t a good habit. But my blog is also my personal journal/tracker of all things fabulousness in my life. And since it’s my blog, I make the rules. So normally I would come up with posts that corresponded with events in my life over the past few days.

One could say I’m hooked on podcasts at the moment. I initally spoke of this when I set out to subscribe to a variety of podcasts and get a feel of what I want to be a loyal listener to.

So I made a list of what I was going to sample and check out. Some have turned out to be real winners in my book. And it doesn’t help that I want to listen to the archives as well, especially of NPR‘s All Songs Considered program with Bob Boilen. I make earrings, have I told you that? Well I do. I end up liking most of what I make and feeling compelled to hold on to the pair using the argument that maybe eventually I’ll have the perfect outfit to match. Of course, eventually I’ll have the outfit to match. I’ll probably go out and buy it to justify why I’m keeping the earrings in the first place.
