I worked 12 hours yesterday. I know some of you won’t feel for me on this. Maybe you do this on a regular basis. But I don’t. Nor do I think my field (magazine editing) really should warrant such work load. With proper planning, deadlines should be met and we’d all have plenty of time to do our job. But with the staff members I work with neglecting their deadlines and too many pages to process, I’ve been working overtime and extra hours since October.
