Check out my new espresso maker! I tried it out today and made an awesome cup of Joe. And it was delicious! I hope to make a joyous cup tomorrow.

My Vintage socks kit arrived last week so I pretty much stopped progress on the Ribby Cardi and the Stash Afghan to get started on it. It’s a long road ahead and I have a deadline so I have to get cracking. Pictures of the leaves to come once I sit down and spread them out nicely. I have 12 of the 32 leaves done and I got the kit on Thursday. Woohoo!

I went to Rustik tonight. It was delicious. I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese and the stuffed chicken. Mmmmm, so delicious!

And thus I am sad. Her flight was majorly delayed due to poor weather in Chicago. I ended up leaving early at the news of this because I had plans for after the event, and unfortunately, I’m so glad I left.
