With a whole day off ahead of me, I packed my time full of errands. I still had to ferret sit, so I cushioned that in the middle so the little guy wouldn’t be waiting too long between visits. I’ve been planning, and planning, and planning to get my passport. I finally decided today was the day. I was going to Walgreens to get the picture taken and going straight over to the post office to file the paperwork. Well, of course the timing of all this hit around lunch time. Yay! But I had knitting with me, so all was well. Until I got to the front of the line. The attendant called me up, I stated my reasons for being there, and I received the reply, “Oh, I don’t do passports.” Great. I’m so glad you get paid to work at the post office and you don’t do one of the services offered. So back to the front of the line I went because now I’m pissed. Knit, knit, knit. It’s amazing how fast my knitting gets when I get frustrated. Even the woman behind me in line commented on how fast I was going. Any faster, and smoke would’ve come off the needles. (Which would have been bad since I was using the Harmony dpns and that might have sparked and caught my wool on fire).
