I knocked The Deer Hunter off my AFI 100 list. Starring Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken and Meryl Streep, this flick depicts a group of friends involved in the Vietnam conflict. It specifically looks a three good friends, their relationship and the hardships of Vietnam.

I liked this movie, but like Apocalypse Now and other like films, it was hard to get through. I thought the acting was really well done, not surprising with De Niro, Walken and Streep in the cast. All three gave stellar performances.   [ Read more ]
