All I can say is that I had an undiagnosed viral infection throughout the month of March. That’s all I can say.

Wow, what a stash down month I’ve had. I finished eight projects this month! Partly this is due to the number of baby items I’ve been knitting up, and the other is because I was sick for two weeks and had nothing else I could do but knit. Thankfully this has put me into a good position to focus on some more intricate pieces like the Alhambra Scarf I’m working on for a friend.   [ Read more ]

Stayed up until 2:30 am to finish Breaking Dawn. Probably my favorite book of the Twilight series (here are entries from Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse)! The book is separated into three books: two narrated by Bella and one by Jacob. I actually liked Jacob’s perspective and after finishing the entire book, understand why that perspective was necessary at the time. Besides this I can’t say much else about it because I don’t want to give anything away for those who haven’t read it. Since this is the last book, of course a lot of things are explained/answered/concluded so it’s hard to mention even a small detail.   [ Read more ]

Today was Earth Hour. I participated in this last year with La Petite Tricoteuse and the Captain but I can’t seem to find an old post about it. Maybe I didn’t post anything … Last year we sat around my apartment and played guitar and sang in the candlelight. A fitting activity for the evening.   [ Read more ]
