afi 100—bonnie & clyde
Today I watched Bonnie & Clyde (#42 and my 87th film watched). I really liked this one, but I’m not surprised since I really like Warren Beatty. This was interesting and I did some research regarding the film’s historical accuracy. It was generally accurate according to most popular myths. Some characters were combined as well.
Bonnie and Clyde were definitely a dynamic duo. I only knew a little bit about the B&C story so the movie was definitely a nice snippet. Wikipedia offered more detail and back story as well.
As for the film, I enjoyed the way it was put together. But again, I credit that all to Warren Beatty, also responsible for Dick Tracy. Best. Movie. Ever.
All in all, I’d recommend this movie. I’m so glad to finally say that because lately I have been less than enthused with the remaining movies on the list.
