I found these awesome Martha Stewart ceramic mixing bowls in my kitchen color! I found them at Tuesday Morning (which has a strange array of stock). It was the only one in this color, although they had a tan set too. They were selling them for $20!! I had to reorganize my cabinets a little but it all worked out. I’m pretty excited about the variety of bowl sizes. The little one is great for spices and the big one, I have some plans for popcorn with that one! (With a group of people, of course!)

Let’s take a gander at my new pretty, pretty martini glass! It came with the purchase of a bottle of Bombay Sapphire and it was all on sale! Well of course I had to try it out and see how different colored martinis looked in it. The left is a Melon Martini (equal parts Midori and vodka) and the right is a Pomegranate Martini concuction that I made up. Both were delicious and looked super yummy in the new glass!

Here are the first of four Pom Pom Peds. These are the Sage/Blue Pom Pom Peds. I’m making a total of four pairs for my mom for her birthday. They’re a pretty basic sock in crop form. I used Knit Picks Risatta in Woodland Sage and trimmed it with some leftover Artyarns Ultramerino. Pretty easy and I got these done in three days while helping out with a wedding shower. L finally received her wedding garter, so I can update the blog. Here it is (sported on my leg for show). We just need to do an elastic fitting on it and it’ll be ready for wear on the big day. I was so excited that the teal came pretty close to matching the wedding color. This turned out so well that I’m really really happy with it.
