I finally finished Free-Range Knitter: The Yarn Harlot Writes Again. I just love reading the Yarn Harlot’s books. This was one of my favorite of her books, right up there with Knitting Rules. The little vignettes are probably Stephanie Pearl-McPhee’s best writing style.

I’m also excited to say that I’m ahead of schedule this year in the number of books read in 2009. I wanted to read 12 books this year, so if you work it out to read a book a month, I’m a head of schedule by two months! How exciting!! If I keep this up, I may surpass my goal—but I don’t want to get ahead of myself with the summer on the horizon.

Books of 2009 total: 6
