I meant to blog about this a lot earlier, but of course, life got in the way. A few weekends ago I was running around getting some errands out of the way that had to get taken care of. I happened across a garage sale. Typically I just drive by and go, “I probably wouldn’t see anything I want, so why bother.” But from the road side, I saw them! These wooden foldup chairs that I have been lusting after for some time now.

This picture of them sort of sucks, but I forgot to take the shot before I put them in storage and didn’t want to take them out just to blog. Better pics are probably to come.

Anyway, so I pulled over like a crazy woman to check it out. The set of four chairs was running for $20. That’s a heck of a lot cheaper than Amazon sells these for and they were in decent shape. But of course I had no cash on me at the time—one of the errands I was out for was to run by the bank. So the seller agreed to hold it for me and I ran frantically over to the bank to retrieve the cash. By the time I returned, three other people wanted the chairs but the seller honored our deal and I scored them! Yay!
