What is this you may ask? Almost the most delicious pasta dish ever! How did I make it? I sauteed onions and garlic in olive oil in a pan. Then I added chopped up kale to the pan. In went some precooked pasta, basically to heat up. A little extra olive oil to keep everything from sticking. When everything seems cooked, into a bowl it goes, topped with cherry tomatoes, fresh chopped basil and a sprinkle of herb Parmesan cheese. Mmmmm! Delish!

A perfect match to the Nutmeg Owl Vest, this little hat is going to be so cute. Unlike the other Owl hats I’ve made, I actually adorned this little gift with buttons and a felt nose. It was pretty easy to stitch on so I’m not sure why I haven’t done this to the other hats I’ve made. I’ll probably go back to do so.

Another favor from a recent wedding was they adorable votives. Again, my friend the bride told me to take what I wanted so they weren’t left with 100 or more votives to give as gifts for years to come. So I took a handful for myself. I like how elegant they look lined up. I still haven’t decided if I want a set of three or five. I guess it will all depend on where I want to place them. Decisions, decisions.

A recent wedding I attended featured these coasters as the wedding favors. Each guest received a packet of two coasters with a note from the bride and groom thanking them for their attendance. As a perk for standing up in the wedding, the bride told me to take as many as I wanted. I like the idea of these green-tinted glass coasters that I took quite a few. I used 10 of them to create a nice set for myself and printed out some of my favorite pictures to put in them.

A top I got from H&M a few weeks ago for $5.

A shirt from the Warren Dunes.

A shrug from Old Navy; this is to replace some of my shrugs that really have seen better days.

I made another Owl Vest for my friend. I am going to make a matching owl hat to go with it.

This is probably one of my favorite baby items I have knit up. It’s super quick and easy.

Here’s a closeup of the owl pattern.

Ethan orchestrated another one of his photoshoots. He was laying across my bed and the light was just right for him to do a bit of modeling.

Looking suave.

Looking mildly irritated.

“I am adorable!”
