Happy 28 to me!

I got a present today! A present of tea! It came from my friend Christine in Atlanta. Harney & Sons has some great teas, and the Peach & Ginger Twist is my favorite! I also love the Holiday blend, which is a rich and spicy black tea. I’ve never had the Chamomile Herbal, so I look forward to trying them before going to bed. Nomy!

I had a ton planned for today. Due to a rescheduling, I had to swing by the dentist’s office, again, for a bite adjustment, again. Then it was off to hang out with La Petite Tricoteuse and The Captain. We did a wee bit of shopping and then ended up at Cosi where I enjoyed a delicious Hummus & Fresh Veggies sandwich. I tried out Fox & Obel today. It’s located at 401 E. Illinois and is a market and cafe. It was dewishious. I had the tuna melt from the cafe. I didn’t do a lot of shopping, but would like to go back to check out the offerings. Unfortunately, I’m not sure the next time I’ll be down that way, but there was some free public parking across the street so that might work out if I plan ahead.

On our last day in Atlanta, we spent checking out some of the local shops. I picked up this cute necklace and the wallet/purse.

I also found this pretty dress for only $40! Good thing nothing else I found at the store fit quite right because I may have bought everything in sight, otherwise!

Chris almost found a hat for all of her Georgian events but decided against it.   [ Read more ]
