While I was in Vegas, my mom took advantage of my electric blanket being at her house. Unfortunately my blanket is a few years old and has started to wear out—I get a lot of use out of my electric blanket! So she took it upon herself to upgrade my heat source. Ethan has been appreciating the blanket too!

Do you remember the My Buddy doll from the 80s? Or his girl equivalent Kid Sister? The commercial’s song lyrics were great. “My Buddy, My Buddy, Wherever I go, he goes, My Buddy, My Buddy, I’ll teach him everything I know.”

Although I never had a My Buddy or Kid Sister, Ethan is my kitty version. He likes to go where I go and he likes to remain close. This week, while working on cleaning up the kitchen and putting things away.

I had his carrier near the back door to take down to storage. I glanced over and found a little surprise when I turned around.

That’s right! Ethan was hanging out in his carrier. This isn’t the first time Ethan has insisted to be near me, even in the kitchen.

While I made pasta sauce, he kept meowing at me until I brought a chair in that he could sit on. After that, he was as quiet as a mouse.

He’s perched on the TV to be nearby me.

Laid in the hallway.

Checked out the bathroom.

And manned the bed.

Phew, I’m glad he’s here to watch over everything!

I decorated my apartment for the holidays today and Ethan got into the spirit too. He decided that the tree skirt was really a blanket for him. I haven’t quite finished the decorating and present-wrapping process so I don’t have pictures of the apartment yet. That’ll come soon.

Ethan went out in his new sweater over Thanksgiving weekend. He looked so sporty and festive. And he kept warm.

Another Owl Hat was made—a newborn size this time. I’m counting it as the same project as the first hat because in total, they both used one skein of yarn.

I really like this hat paired with the Owl Baby Vest #2. They look so darling together! This will make some Mom-to-Be a very lucky mommy.

Ethan decided to try the hat on too!

He is so handsome. He is becoming quite the baby clothes model.

Happy Halloween everyone! Ethan was KittySaurus this year.

Check out his awesome hat!

He wanted to get a lot of different shots during this photo shoot. This might be coy …

You can see his awesome skull and crossbones tshirt being sported too.

This is what a boy does when his mommy is home all day from root canal retreatment. He takes over the electric throw and sleeps.
